My Story PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL US WITHOUT FILLING OUT AN APPLICATION. ***Adoption application at www.aberdeenstr.com*** IF WE DO NOT RECEIVE AN APPLICATION, WE WILL NOT RESPOND TO YOUR EMAIL. Mister Wire haired minture doxy mix. 1 year old 13 lbs. This one we will never ever, ever understand with Mister as this sweet soul is beyond words pure love & a joy & such an amazing boy who loves everyone & everything he comes into contact with. Mister was unfortunately in a kill shelter & they tried relentlessly to find him a home or a rescue to take him as his time was over. The shelter reached out to us to help Mr & here we are with this boy who is nothing but love. Mister is neutered, chipped, up to date on his shots, heart worm negative & a pure joy, he sleeps with his foster dad in the bed with him, loves to go on walks & does so well on a leash, is sociable with people & dogs, we do not know about children nor cats. His foster dad is absolutely in love with Mister & we are so thankful every day we got this boy out & saved his life & to his foster dad for taking such good care of Mister but it's time for this boy to find his loving forever home who will adore Mister. We will only be accepting applications who meet all of the requirements for Mister. Mister is currently in a foster home & it's time for Mister to find his new forever home & can only go to a home with other dogs present in the home, someone who will work with him on potty training & training like all of his doggy friends & love & cherish him & someone present in the home during the day. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Mister & have read his listing fully to the end & going through our process of your references being checked, a phone interview & a home visit followed with a meet & greet if it's a good fit with our discretion. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Mister has an adoption fee of $650. Like most dogs in our rescue, Mister will need work on potty training. __________________________ **IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ** An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well. As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves. When submitting an application, Please be 100% certain that you are committed to completing the adoption process. This includes having all household members in agreement of the dog adoption and being prepared to complete the adoption once approved. We are committed to placing each dog in the very best home possible. As an all volunteer rescue we spend several hours vetting and approving each applicant and every minute spent working on applicants that are not prepared to complete the adoption takes us away from saving another dogs life. This truly is a life and death matter for these precious souls. Thank you for your understanding. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog We will contact you once we have received and reviewed your completed application. A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet can be scheduled. Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Adoption Process All of our dogs are in foster homes, so please fill out an application on our website to meet them in person: www.aberdeenstr.com. Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue is a 501(c)3 recognized charity. Our volunteers dedicate all their free hours to finding the best loving home for each of our dogs.
