About Cari

Hi, my name is Cari. I'm an adorable Aussie/Blue Heeler blend, 2-3 years old and 45 pounds. I am a BIG LOVER and I love having ALL of the attention from my people. I am potty trained, love going outside to run, and walk pretty well on a leash. I know sit, shake, and circle and am working on perfecting 'down'. You see, I just get so excited to see you that sometimes I like to get up close and personal. I love car rides of course, because I like to do whatever YOU are doing. I love playing with other dogs (and you) and I give kisses to my family's cats. I sleep in my kennel during the day when my people are at work and school, and usually at night. Sometimes I get a special treat and get to sleep with my people (shhh, don't tell). I LOVE snuggles. Really, I'm serious, snuggles are the best! I didn't have the best upbringing before arriving at my foster home, so I'm still a little bit afraid of men. But I love my foster dad and 2-legged foster brother, so I just need to learn I can trust men. I've never been around really small children so I'm not sure how I would like them, but my older kids in my foster home are my bff's. I'm being fostered in southeast Iowa and am looking for my forever home. I need someone I can lean on, love on, play with, and be with, all of the time you are home. Is that you?
