Maisy is 24 pounds, half GSD, and thought to be 12 weeks old. She is super soft and a little fluffy. She definitely has some strong shepherd genes, as she has already tried to lead the toddler around gently by his hand! She is GREAT with kids but like many shepherds, probably best for older kids. She is super chill for a puppy, and I think she might not even mind bei ng a single dog. With her strong prey drive, she is not suitable for a home with cats or birds. She is not a lap dog, though she is very sweet. She is also very independent and a bit of an alpha, and will chew on and eat anything (except dry kibble, she is not as fast to want that :D ) if given the chance. She redirects easily but should be crated or in a puppy playpen if unsupervised. She will play sorta-fetch, and she loves toys and resting in her puppy playpen. She loves to chase her tail and bubbles. She loves to make a pile with her toys. She has slept both nights without much fuss in a crate. She is currently being taught to walk on a leash and being potty trained. She was OK in the tub. So far we think her perfect home has children, no cats, and a family committed to obedience training, crating, and socializing. Not sure what she is mixed with (possibly Lab) but we think she is going to be pretty big.
