About Riley

Riley is a ten month old female black lab pit mix. She has been spayed and is up to date on shots. Riley is a very smart girl that loves to work! She knows how to sit, lay down, wait, and crawl, as well as, how to play fetch. She would love to be a lap dog, in fact if you sit with her on the floor there is a very good chance that is where she will end up! I have two children ages 4 and 6. We have raised her since she was around 4 weeks old - way too young to be away from her mother. I was told she was 8 weeks at the time but a vet confirmed otherwise. Riley is such a lover and a huge part of our family!! It breaks my heart to be searching for a new family for her but unfortunately, she and my adult female Shepard have started having issues. It is not Riley instigating, she is simply reacting. I know it would be irresponsible of me to let the tension between these two continue to escalate. I would be devistated if one of them got seriously hurt or worse...
