We have a wonderful Jack Russell Terrier that we rescued. PRESTON!!! He had been dumped in a swamp! We had all of his shots done and had him neutered and microchipped. He's about a year old, great with other dogs, and pretty mellow for a Jack Russell. He's not great with cats, but he's so darn trainable I think he can be taught the rules about cats. He's brown and white plus sweet, sweet, sweet! He crates really well. Someone was hard on him, but he has shown zero inclination to fear bite. When you raise your voice or make too much noise, he cowers down. With love and affection and training, he will learn to trust again. This handsome boy needs basic training; not yet housebroken, but he doesn't run around marking, either. He wants to be a lap dog. Preston needs a fenced in yard and someone who knows the JRT personality. His adopter must be able to drive to the Austin, Texas area to get him. A home check and good vet reference are mandatory to adopt Preston. His adoption fee is $200.
