About Grace

Grace (AKA:La La) Background: Grace was adopted around 5 months old from a Texas Shelter and flown up here by her new family. They had her for approximately 9-10 months when there was an accident and I was asked to take her in and find her a new home. When she was given to me I was told she did have some bad behaviors example: Woofing down her food and food aggression. The first day she was here I broke of both habits. She likes cats and lived with a Siamese at her old home, She also lived with a smaller dog. However, I would not recommend her being placed with another small dog. Graces personality: She is a very, very sweet dog. She loves kids and likes to do lick sneak attacks especially when my kids rough house. It's really fun to watch. She is extremely gentle even when I play with her with my hands�'�|.soo gentle. She isn't a dog that normally jumps up, in fact she is rather submissive. You can tell her previous family really loved her because it comes across in her behavior. Oh, and she is a MEGA snuggler. She is a very Chill/ low key animal (caveat, she needs a least 30 mins of exercise 4 times wk min rain or shine to stay the chill dog). Activities: She loves to go jogging/running, to the dog park, walks. She loves to play with balls, tennis, soccer, softballs, any kind of ball really. She likes to occasionally chew on toy ropes/bones, she likes plushies of course. She is starting to play tug-a-war. Sometimes she will just sit and play by herself. Home Placement: She can be placed in a home with cats and/or another dog 40lbs or more, preferable male. Or no other animals, she would love all the attention. She cannot be in a home with fowl (Birds) due to her breeds (Lab/ Greyhound). The lab in her wants to chase the birds and her Greyhound make her want to chase and run which you will see at the dog park. This is also why she should not be around small animals. I think she would be fine with kids any age, however mine are 8+. She can be walked by my 8yr daughter & 68 yr mother without issues.
