Mylah is a 1 year old female Catahoula mix. She was surrendered to me from a home who could no longer care for her. We took her to the vet for health exam and vaccinations. She will need to be spayed and the person who adopts her will be expected to have her spayed at their personal vet per our Spay / Neuter adoption contract. Mylah has a very sweet disposition and loves every child and adult she meets. She has always been in a home with other dogs. She is currently being fostered in a home with 9 dogs. Within about 6 hours she was comfortable with all 9 dogs and initiating play. At first she was captious and would bark. Just took a little time to get comfortable. She is completely house trained and uses a dog door. She has shown no signs of chewing or digging. She is very affectionate and sleeps on a dog bed but would love to sleep in bed with you. Mylah is not a backyard dog, she is very social and loves being in a home with her human family. Mylah knows her sit and stay and is ok on a leash but, could use some additional experience with the leash. She will be an excellent family dog. Great for walks, hikes, and most outdoor activity. Contact me at [email protected] to arrange to meet Mylah and additional pictures. We offer a two week sleep-over which allows you some time to make sure Mylah is the right fit for your home before committing to the adoption. If it is not a good match, we take Mylah back and return your adoption fee.
