About Gunner

Our little Gunner! He is so spunky but intensely loyal. I have had him since he was six weeks old and he is now 7 years. His birthday is today! April 2nd! He is anyone's cuddle buddy but does take a while to warm up to men. He is my husband's best buddy but it took a few months for him to completely come around. He isn't the yippiest Chihuahua on the block but he does like to be heard and also will hold a conversation with you by mimicking sounds you make. My life has recently changed dramatically and we are unable to continue to care for him. I know...the typical thing you see when you look at these posts. I hate that I have to let him go. But due to a new baby at the age of 43 who was born very early and has health issues it is just too much for us and too much for Gunner. He is very unsure with our Sophie and it has made us a little nervous to have him with the baby. Jealousy may be the issue because he has also started marking in the house. Only on HER things. So it is becoming a physical danger for her and it is just not something we can continue with. I am sorry that I have to do this. I am crying as I write this. I have 2 other dogs that are having to be re-homed as well. They all love each other so much. They are such good babies. Please consider our boy.
