About Rita

Inquiries please do not call. Email is best. Meet Rita! She is a miniature schnauzer with gray and cream coloring. She has naturally floppy ears and a cropped tail. Rita is the sweetest dog you will ever meet. She loves to cuddle and give kisses. She is quiet (unless there's a stranger at the door, or a cat/squirrel outside the window!) and very low maintenance. She is happy to lay on the couch all day. Even though she's easy, she loves interacting with people. She is a very playful dog when you want her to be. She loves dinner time and going on runs. She is like a little pony - she can run at a steady pace for miles! She is very patient too: we are a young family of three with a two-year-old son who is always tugging her ears and laying on her and she takes it without a whimper. She is great with other dogs. We actually have two schnauzers and they get along great, although she's just as happy being the only doggy around. She is kennel trained, house trained, and knows that leashes mean its time for a walk! Rita is pretty much the perfect dog. She gets groomed regularly (We trim her ourselves. She doesn't move.) Regular vet checkups, vaccinations and teeth cleanings. She is about 20 lbs and 16' high when standing. She will come with a kennel, collar and leash. We think she is about 5 years old. We rescued her in Houston TX before we moved to AZ for graduate school. We are unable to take her with our next move, and it breaks out heart to give her up. We want her to find a happy home!
