About Blue & Gold Macaw

Hi�'�|Abby here and boy am I a fun and pretty bird. My favorite toys are paper tubes which I shred into pieces. I also like wood and rope toys but if I can destroy it I will so I will need plenty of toys to keep me busy. I love all kinds of foods like carrots, brown rice, cooked beans, and much more. I will even say thank you for giving me all the yummy stuff. My former owner used to leave me on a play stand and I never left. I am a very good girl that way. I have no desire to explore but I should still be supervised. I am a bird after all and you never know when I might change my mind and find some mischief to get into. I am used to taking a bath on a perch in the shower with my former owner. They used to bath me every day. I get car sick so having a big travel cage with a large door that I can hang on will be important. I am friendly with other bird and used to cats, dogs, chickens, and lizards. I have a large vocabulary and can offer hours of entertainment to my new home. I will wave at you with encouragement which is very cute.
