This pretty girl is Amelia. She is almost a year old and currently weighs 44 pounds. She was a stray mom who was lucky enough to encounter a Good Samaritan who asked for our help. Amelia has a sweet personality. While initially reserved when meeting new people, she warms up and asks to be pet. We anticipate that she will learn to cuddle when her new family lets her on the couch. Amelia is a fan of other dogs. She likes to play with the dogs at her foster home. However, she does need to eat separately since she will allow other dogs to steal her food. She is too sweet to push the other dogs away. Amelia is learning all of the right things. She is crate trained and is almost done with house training. Reinforcement will be good for her in a new home. She knows the command to go to her crate and knows the commands to go I side and outside. She wants to please and learns quickly. Amelia is working on leash training and does ride quietly in a crate in the car. Mostly, she is soft and quiet and sweet. She has a playful side, too. She really just wants love and attention. We are looking for a very special home for this lovely girl. After raising her pups, she deserves the best. Amelia is spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccinations. We do not ship our dogs. So, she is available by appointment to meet potential adopters in SoCal. A home visit and vet reference are required.
