About Brownie

Brownie, Sister and Gretchen, from Kings County. Border Collie mixes. Brownie is red/brown, Gretchen - black and Sister is white with black. Long story. They came from a shelter up north. The only person ever to spend time with and cared for them was an 18 yr old young man. He lived with 9 other people but no one cared about the dogs. When animal control picked them, they were carried, each one out like a baby. For a few weeks they were in full protection mode and scared of everyone but slowly they learned trust! Now they look to people for affection and resources. They're pretty normal dogs now. Mom is Gretchen, 5 years old, and her kids, Brownie and Sister, about 18 mos. Super nice girls. Lots more to come. But they are super respectful of people, and totally balanced with other dogs. Got Gretchen and Brownie off leash second day here, on a pack walk. Tomorrow, it's Sister!
