About Blue

Hi! My name is Blue, and I'm a sweet, loving, affectionate, sociable, and amiable slate gray medium-haired Russian Blue/ Manx mix fella with jade green eyes and a stubby tail who was born in March 2016. (Actually Nebulung is the name of medium-haired Russian Blue kitties, but you've probably never heard of them.) Russian Blues are known for being loyal, gentle, quiet, well-behaved, super-intelligent, and clean, and I'm no exception. However, I'm just the friendliest kitty you'll ever meet. My outgoingness probably can be attributed to any Manx blood which might be coursing through my veins. Like a lot of dog-like Manx kitties, I constantly follow my foster meowmy around. She calls me the 'ankle shiner' because I like to rub my head on her ankles. So I have a nice combination of Russian Blue and Manx personality traits. Bottom line is that I love attention and petting, and I'd sit in your lap all day if you'd let me! I love other kitties and well-behaved kids or dogs too! So there are many households in which I'd fit like a glove. Can you believe that my original owner didn't want me any more? It was no fault of my own either! I thought I was a member of the family, but I guess not! Luckily my future foster meowmy spotted my 'free cat' online posting and ended up taking me home with her.
