About Max

This cute little 20 pound boy was an owner turn in to our shelter as they just could not take care of him. He was on floor 3 of an apartment building and they had 2 small children and little time for him. They decided to give him up when he jumped up on their toddler and knocked him down. This boy is scared in the shelter as he does not know too much about other people and other noises. He needs to get back into a home soon. He was taken care of by a nice lady as a foster parent and he did really well with her and another dog. He appears to us to be part Boston terrier based on his body and color. He was turned in as a Chihuahua mix, and we can hardly see that at all, but he was obtained as a puppy and that is what they were told. He is only about 20 pounds and does well on a leash. He is neutered and microchpped and vaccinated and available for $200 fee.
