About Samantha

Meet Samantha!! This lovely little girl is a 5 month old mix of Shih Tzu and possible a Silky Terrier but definitely a smaller terrier type. Although she is a little shy she is VERY loving and eager to please. She was given to us by the family of an older woman who the family felt was not really taking care of her and the other dogs on the property. She did not even have a name but she seemed to learn Samantha in about a day! Because she wasn't really held or engaged with that is what makes her shy but she does not have a mean bone in her body and when you talk to her she runs up to you wagging her tail non-stop. When she finally does have a forever family we know she is going to blossom! Her adoption fee includes her current vaccinations, spay, microchip, rabies and housebreaking. She is fairly well housebroken and does know how to use wee wee pads or go outside but as she is a puppy and a bit shy accidents can happen. Adoption fee applies. As we like to pre-screen via email please tell us a bit about you such as your lifestyle, work schedule, activity level, area you live in, house or apartment, how many other pets, children and adults in the home etc. We will definitely place her in a home with children but preferably with children that are a bit older and know how to approach a shy dog so as not to scare her.
