About Zeus

Hello my name is Zeus. My rescue tells me I have a heartbreaking story to be such a young pup and lucky to be alive. When I was found, I was on the side of the road standing beside my deceased mom and siblings that had been hit by a car. I was the only survivor at only 8 weeks old but that is kind of a distant memory now. The owner of my mom and dad lived just down the road but did not want me back so the nice lady that found me on the side of the road took me home with her. That is where I remained until just a week ago when I came to my new rescue. I lost my mom and siblings as a baby and now I just lost my real human mom because she could no longer care for because she has something called cancer. I went to the doctor and was fully vetted and the doctor said I am between 6-8 months old and weigh 50 pds. He said I'm a big boy but in good health. With that being said, my rescue people says I will be a larger breed dog when I am full grown. There has been some people inquire about me but they wanted a small puppy and I'm not small but not sure what difference that makes. I love to be around people but will also lay on the couch for hours and just rest. I am dog, cat and kid friendly and just an active young pup. I like to play like all pups does and my last mom said I never had an accident in my home but at my foster moms house, I have had a few accidents. My rescue people thinks its because I am in a strange place now and I think they are right. I need someone to work with me on sit, stay, down and walking on a leash. I am still young and my mom was not able to teach me much due to being sick. I'm a little confused why I don't see my real human mom but I heard my people say she is in the hospital but still loves me. If you would like to give me a real forever home please contact my rescue right away. I am in something they call a temporary home and can only stay there for another two weeks max so I really need a home. Although I'm not a small pup, I have a big heart and will be your best friend.
