Meet DJ!! If you are looking for a rough and tumble little boy who loves to play and also loves to cuddle DJ is your guy!! He was given up by a young girl who thought tieing a shoe lace around his neck and using that as a collar and a leash was a good idea. Here in rescue he LOVES all the dogs, big and small and is happy and well adjusted! He loves to play and would be great with a very active individual or family. The girl that gave him up said he is a Shih Tzu mix however when we took him for his vaccines and microchip most people felt he was some type of Aussie/Border Collie Terrier mix. Without a DNA test it is hard to tell. At 9 weeks old we don't know how big he will get because we did not see the parents but we are figuring anywhere from 20-30 pounds possibly a little more. His adoption fee includes his current vaccines, neuter (per the terms of our adoption contract), microchip, collar and leash. An adoption fee does apply. As we pre-screen via email please tell us a bit about you such as your lifestyle, work schedule, activity level, area you live in, house or apartment, how many adults, children and pets in your household etc. We will definitely place him in a home with children.
