About Joy

Cutie Pie is Joy! Joy is about 10-11 weeks old, weights about 10 pounds and she is a Coconut Retrievers (mixed island dogs). Joy was rescued along with her siblings (Jett, June, Jolie) from Saint Maarten. Saint Maarten is a beautiful island, but life can be difficult for dogs especially now after the hurricanes. Fresh water is hard to find as well as food. A woman dropped the siblings off in a box to the SMX Paws shelter and they reached out to FHDR. We transported the siblings to the NJ to live in foster homes. Joy's foster family states��%BD'��%BD|.'Joy is a happy, friendly puppy! She loves playing and following our 85 pound dog around. It so darn cute! Joy likes to be where everyone is and her favorite thing to do is jump on your lap and cuddle. She also likes giving everyone puppy kisses. Joy is good in the car and loves to chase her stuffed animals around the house. She has a silky soft black coat with white on her paws, chest and under her chin. She is simply adorable!' Please note, the breeds on the island are different than in the US. So we can't tell for sure what breed Joy is, but what we do know is she is 100% sweetness. We have no background info on who the mom and dad are. We do not have a shelter facility you can visit.
