About FROSTY

FROSTY 4yr Old Siberian Husky - COMING SOON Frosty was surrendered to rescue after her owner passed away several weeks ago, and family had no luck finding her a good home on their own. They did care for her and get her vet-checked - she unfortunately came back heart worm positive on a test that was sent out for verification. She is asymptomatic with no micrifilaria and is being treated with once a month prevention for a slow kill of the heart worm. She has no other health problems, and will come with a one year supply of the medication she needs. With proper care, she should make a full recovery as her condition was discovered early. She was shaved the way she looks now when family got her, but her coat would grow in full as a typical husky - probably why she looks so little in her photo! She lived with a Yorkie before her owner passed, and is therefore assumed to be good with dogs of all sizes. The family surrendering her say she has a very pleasant disposition. We will update her bio as we learn more from her foster family in the coming weeks. She is spayed. Pre-Adoption applications are being accepted.
