About Mimi

Mimi is a super sweet 1 year old cairn terrier mix who needs to find a forever family that will love her for exactly who she is and spoil her rotten. Mimi came to us with scarring on her face, but her previous family gave us no answers. We can tell she was attacked by an animal of some kind, and she has healed fine, but it did leave permanent scarring. She is also barely able to close her left upper eye lid, so she would do best if she was given self lubricating eye drops daily to help her prevent dry eye. They are very affordable and can be purchased over the counter at a pharmacy or grocery store. Mimi does not let her battle scars phase her a bit, and is always happy to see everyone she meets! Mimi greets us with a happy wagging tail and gets along with other small dogs at play time. She would love a home with a gentle canine companion to keep her company, but would also be happy as the center of her family's love and attention. Mimi has previously lived with children as young as 7 years old, so she would love to join a big family or keep an only child company in bed at night. She would do well with an active family since she is a young and spunky gal who loves to play! When play time is over, this snuggle bug is ready to cuddle up and watch movies. She was never house trained, so she will need a patient family who is willing to help her learn her manners and grow into a well rounded young lady. Mimi weighs in at 10 pounds full grown. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and vet checked. Her adoption fee is $240. To meet her come to our shelter location 1102 W Hatcher Rd open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm.
