eet little Miss Miley. Miley is a spayed female Yorkie that is 11 years young and weighs 9 lbs. Miley has an unusual hair color - she looks like she's blonde, but with highlights of brown and black. She is truly a 'diamond in the rough''| a very sweet girl who deserves forever love. Miley came to Puppy Pals Rescue as a surrender from an individual who stated that they couldn't keep her due to moving residence and lack of time to devote to her. The circumstances really don't matter'| Miley is now with PPR and we'll find her a forever home. Miley was spayed when she arrived, however, needed a few shots updated, heartworm & fecal tests (which had negative results) and micro-chipping. Due to her age, PPR felt it important to have a complete blood work-up on her to reassure her future new family that she's healthy and has no unforeseen illnesses. The blood tests were costly; but PPR felt as though it was well worth the expense. We will provide the results to new owner(s) to give to their vet for her history (along with all medical documents). Miley does stay in a crate, but it's not her ideal place to be. She does cry at night until she settles in. I believe she'd prefer to sleep with you. She enjoys jumping up on the couch and taking a nap on the back and playing referee outside when the other dogs get too rough. She'll bark to say 'enough is enough!' She does well in the car on trips to the vet and groomer. Her previous owner states that she was good with other dogs, cats, and children. However, due to her age, PPR would prefer not to adopt to anyone with toddlers who might hit or pull on her. Although she's not a puppy, Miley has lots of spunk for her age. Her foster home tells us that Miley looks at them with her eyes so intensely focused when they are talking to her. She has adjusted very well into PPR. We have no doubt that she will continue to do the same with a new forever home. Miley's ideal home would be with a retired person or single person who wants a close companion to pal around with and/or spend time with just cuddling and getting and giving kisses. If she would go into a home with other dogs, we would prefer ones her size and adults in age. If you have any questions, please contact the foster home at the link found at http://puppypalsrescue.com/Dogs_Miley1822.html.
