About Max

Hi, my name is Max. I'm a 4-yr-old Australian Cattle Dog about 27 lbs. My mom describes me as a gifted child; I'm very smart but socially awkward. She tells me to get water or pee and I do. In addition to being smart, I'm extremely athletic, love chasing balls, herding sheep/cattle and love snuggling with my mom and little poodle sister. I'm pretty submissive and great walking on or off leash. I have a high drive and require exercise everyday. I have bitten my owner and other family members because I haven't received the proper training I need. Unfortunately my mom travels for work a lot and is unable to consistently train me but we are working on it. I just got accepted into a Cesar Millian-affiliated training program and will be ready for adoption once my training in complete! I would be an amazing dog for a single owner with no kids who loves the outdoors and wants a forever hiking buddy/working dog and can give me the continued training I need. I can't wait to meet you!
