About Knox

Knox is a handsome and unique 1 year old heeler/cairn terrier mix who is looking for the perfect active family to call his own. Knox is a medium size boy who weighs in at 25 pounds. Knox has the handsome markings of a heeler with the adorable scruff of a terrier. Know is a very high energy boy who will need a home with a yard and an active family who understands the amount of exercise this young boy will require. Knox does ok with other dogs his size, but is a dominant male. He would need to meet any other dogs in the home before adoption, and would not be a good fit for extra small dogs or seniors. Knox will need a home with older children only, who can handle his high energy. Knox loves to play with toys and will fetch until your arms can't throw anymore. Knox is kennel trained, house broken, and knows how to use a doggy door. He is neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped, licensed and vet checked. His adoption fee is $260. His adoption includes a free vet visit and 30 days of free pet insurance. To meet him come to our shelter location 1102 W Hatcher Rd open Tuesday to Sunday 11-6. Call for location on the weekends as we have off site adoption events some of our dogs attend.
