About Betsy

Heavens to betsy, you're one sweet dog Betsy! She's an almost three year old petite Boxer mix who looks like a cow and snorts like a piggy! Betsy arrived at ACL as a stray, and unfortunately her owner never came to claim her. The upside is that Betsy is a total doll who will complete the right family! She's a submissive, loving lady who is eager to please her people. She loves cuddles and sweet talk, and she's easy to walk on her leash. Betsy will do well with kids of any age - she has a very gentle nature. She's not comfortable with dogs who are super forward or barky - she prefers a low-key, mellow companion who won't be in her face all the time. She'd also be happy to be the only pet so she could have all the cuddles to herself! We can't say how Betsy would do with cats - she may be able to handle it with a slow introduction.
