About Nala

Anyone looking for a lap dog? My name is Nala and I absolutely LOVE being around people- especially kids! My foster mom says I am one of the sweetest dogs she has ever met and that I have a very 'motherly' nature about me. My favorite thing to do is crawl up into your lap and get as much attention as possible. I absolutely love being pet and giving kisses! Although I am very loving, I have not had the life I deserve and I can be a little timid and a bit unsure of my surroundings. I am slowly learning to accept love, play and feel safe. I still need some encouragement that it is okay to be outside. I usually go potty as quickly as possible and then want right back in the house. Today, I went on a walk and actually enjoyed it, though I'm still more comfortable cuddling on the couch. I would really like my new family to have a crate for me to sleep in. I really like my crate and I feel very safe and secure in it. I am a low to moderate energy dog. I am do not bark much, except when my foster brother gets close-I'm still not too sure about him. My ideal family would be one who is willing to be patient with me and committed to helping me gain confidence by enrolling me in obedience training.
