About Tar

This beautiful boy is Tar. He is looking for a home that doesn't include babies or toddlers. He just hasn't warmed up to the idea of people being that small and making funny noises! Tar is a 3 year old Australian Cattledog who weighs about 45 pounds. Tar is an active boy and will relish a home that can keep him busy. He already knows sit and the command to go into his crate. As is normal with this breed, he can be slow to warm up to new folks. Once he knows you, he warms right up. Tar is also nice with female dogs and can be nice with polite male dogs. While we don't know how he is with cats, he is good with chickens! Tar will benefit from leash training and other basics. He will also benefit from slow socialization with more people since he can be a bit nippy if scared. Going slow will help this boy acclimate to new folks faster. Tar is neutered and ready to meet potential adopters. He is currently located in Norco. Adopters must be able to come to Norco to meet and adopt. A home visit and vet reference are required.
