Considering her history and that she is basically a puppy, Bailey has been really good with our 3 year old granddaughters, my wife's cats and our 15 year old dog. We all really like her but are downsizing and won't be able to keep Bailey. My daughter found her walking down the middle of I-10 in Goodyear and she jumped in the car as soon as the door was opened. She is chipped and had been missing for 3 weeks. Her previous owner can no longer keep her and the Vet I took her to asked me to take her. I've had her for about 4 months but can't keep her much longer. She has a beautiful temperament, is totally submissive and loves everyone. She has not been protective of food and will gently eat from anyone's hand. She prefers to take you for a walk rather than visa versa. She wants to play with the cats but has learned to ignore them. She understands sit, down, no and (usually) stay. She will (usually) wait for you to go through an exterior door first. Her previous owner registered her as a therapy dog and she has visited kids in Phoenix Children's Hospital. She has 2 issues. The vet found Valley Fever so she is currently on medication. Since she was a rescue dog to start with and was running around loose for 3+ weeks when I got her, she has some house potty training issues. We haven't had much time to spend working with Bailey but she is getting better at going potty outside.
