BEN is a 2-3 year old border collie mix--we're guessing some kind of retriever is in there. He is choosy about his dog friends and does not like the unfamiliar. After he warms up, though, he is a nice guy! He went to a home briefly but did not get along with the other dog in the household even though they had a meet and greet. Such a handsome boy! Someone with BC experience would be a good candidate for adopting him. We are a small shelter located in rural PA; closest city is Pittsburgh. Please Map It before you contact us. We require a meet and greet with any other dogs in the home, check references, and need to meet the prospective adopters; therefore, we do not transport dogs.
