About Belladonna

Belladonna is currently fostered in Seminole, FL (Pinellas County). We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families! Belladonna is a beautiful dog, about 55 lbs and 2-3 years of age. She loves attention, all dogs, and with proper introductions, cats. She is kennel trained and housebroken. She needs a strong leader that will continue giving her rules and boundaries. She is a fun-loving girl who loves to run zoomies, fetch a toy and play. She has a history of guarding space and food, and as many herding dogs do, requires a dog-savvy adopter. What does this entail? Use of crates to allow dogs their own space while eating and enjoying high-quality chews (this is a standard in our foster homes), quiet time when they desire, leadership in the home, and not allowing a dog to rule the roost by jumping on the bed or other furniture. Belladonna will be your most loyal buddy and give you a high-5 every morning as a greeting. She is a sweetie who turns to mush for people. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, microchipped and heartworm negative. This girl has been wanting for quite some time for a solid home that will love and work with her.
