Zorro is fostered in Hollywood, FL (Broward County). We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for fosters! Zorro was a Miami-Dade Animal Services rescue and has come a long way in rescue! He is an approximately 10-year-old Australian cattle dog who weighs around 30 lbs and is currently on a diet. He is a total sweetheart who deserves a loving home with someone who appreciates him. He is great with humans of all ages, and does fine with dogs smaller than him. He should not go to a home with dogs larger than him as he becomes defensive and scared. This has been tested in two homes and it is a consistent pattern. He does fine with the cats outside of his home, but does seem very interested in and observant of them. He would also be fine as an only animal. Zorro loves to play ball, go for walks, and of course get loads of attention! He is housebroken and overall just a really nice boy. As a senior dog, Zorro is available through our Seniors for Seniors program. His standard adoption donation is $250, but he can be adopted by a senior 65+ for $150. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, microchipped, and was treated for heartworm in rescue.
