Hi, my name's Leandro and I'm a 1 year old neutered male Lab who's said to be a VERY SPECIAL find 'cause I'm the nicest dog in town! Some people might consider me just a 'plain' gold dog but my rescue friends assure me that MY personality truly SHINES ! Hey folks, life is GOOD these days and that's something I truly appreciate! Everyone seems to be impressed with my manners AND gentle demeanor, but I find it easy to behave since I thrive on the pawsitive praise one receives for doing so! I'm a big GENTLE clown who loves to snuggle and a bit of a Momma's (or Daddy's) boy too but I'm the consummate house dog who knows how to behave like a true Gentleman, both indoors AND out! I have a STABLE, even temperament: CALM, highly INTELLIGENT, easy to train, AFFECTIONATE, extremely GENTLE and very WELL BEHAVED indoors knowing that's the place to be kicked back. I'm a SWEET boy who is super socialized, housebroken, crate trained (though I certainly don't need one) and even sits for treats and/or attention instantly. I love to lay at your feet and play with my bone(s) or favorite toys and especially enjoy car rides where I sit nicely to take in the scenery! Mare says I'm the BEST 'take everywhere' dog because I always mind my manners in any situation and am known to be 'non-reactive' and even gracious when meeting other animals and humans. I guess those are HIGH compliments coming from someone known to be so picky about such things... I'm glad she's so pleased with me but, truth is, I just enjoy being out and getting to meet everyone 'cause I love making new friends ! I have a heart of gold so I'm GREAT with other dogs and known to be beyond FABULOUS with children because I got to practice with the miniature humans I helped to raise. I'm SUPER EASY on a leash, learn REALLY quickly and looooove to please. My foster Mom says I'm the PERFECT canine ambassador, a GREAT COMPANION and friend because I have a heart as big as all outdoors. I'm looking for a special person(s) or a family of my own so I can stick by YOUR side through thick and thin 'cause I'm the most LOYAL friend you'll ever encounter!
