About Maverick

Maverick is very sweet dog but his owners do not have the time to exercise and play with him. He is dominant. We tried placing him with a family with another dog, but he thinks he is the Alpha dog so it caused some problems. No fighting or anything like that, but the owners female dog was stressed out with Maverick's determination to be alpha. Maverick is 70 lbs and all muscle. He is crated during the day. Has all shots and is neutered but not chipped. Don't think he will work well in a family that already has a dog. Lots of energy. House broken. Needs a strong owner who can discipline him. He's mischievous but terribly sweet. I envision him with an outdoorsy family that likes hiking, camping, going to park.
