This young, handsome boy was found as an abandoned stray with a littermate, Pax, also up for adoption. Arlo is about 8-9 months old and is very medium sized. He is a lab/pit mix and weighs about 55 pounds. Arlo has a beautiful shiny, reverse brindle coat that looks mostly black, then will look dark chocolate brown with gold brindle throughout. He has a very distinct look and is personality plus. Arlo loves to romp and run in the yard and play with toys. We believe that he would be good with other dogs, we are unsure how he would do with cats. Arlo would be good with children who are steady on their feet and know how to be gentle and appropriate with dogs. Arlo seems to be comfortable in a kennel and will likely catch right on to house training as long as he is taken out on a schedule. Arlo is fairly quiet and doesn't bark much. Like many young pups, he can stand to learn a few things and seems to be an affectionate, quick learner. He especially loves treats and cookies and would thrive with training with positive reinforcement. If you are looking for a slightly smaller version of Arlo, Pax with striking similarities, weighs about 10 pounds less. Arlo is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
