About Dakota

How distinguished and calm do I look? Well these pictures aren't to fool you, this is what I am truly like. My name is Dakota and I am looking for my forever people. Things I am good at; using my crate, going potty outside. Things I like; Other dogs, cats, grown ups, little people, food (I am a lab!) learning new commands. I get very excited when I see my people but most of the time I'm a calm guy who just wants to be with you and make you happy. I also rub myself on things like cats do...sometimes it's the only way to reach the best spots. My current people tell me I am an amazing dog and I am tender and sweet and will make a great addition to any family. Do I sound like the boy for you?? *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*
