Oliver is a just a little scared black chihuahua blend. There is nothing special about Oliver and that is why he was on death row. He looks scared and very thin, and that is not what people are looking for when they go to adopt at a shelter. Many people passed Oliver on their way to the outgoing, barking, dogs down the row. No one noticed little Oliver hunched over in the corner of his cage; very confused and very hungry. The scared ones never get attention, they are the ones that are put on death row. But Oliver didn't know that, he just knew he was not in a good place. He represents all the pups that are kicked out of a car, left behind by their family or lost and never found. My heart breaks when I see these little guys. Low Riders has rescued many of these little guys and all they need is a little love, a little cuddle and someone to talk softly to them. They do come around and they make the best companions ever. They show their love and appreciation every day. Oliver may not have anything special about him, but he is a very special little boy. He is only 1 years old and is only 11 lbs. If you would like to meet Oliver please fill out an application at www.lowridersofthewest.org He will be neutered, chipped and have is vaccinations up to date before he goes to his new home. Oliver is being fostered in Highlands Ranch.
