My name is LeeAnne and I am about 10-11 years old. I'm a beagle mix and am just a little lady. Let me tell you why you should adopt a senior dog... 1. We've developed our personalities! You pretty much know what you are adopting! 2. We tend to get overlooked for younger, more spry pups. We think they are cute, too, but as seniors - it is hard to keep getting looked past. 3. We may not have months or years left to offer you, but we can offer companionship. After all - we've had many years to perfect the art of being someone's best friend. Now a little bit more about me...I first came to Michiana as a stray. I am really looking for a nice, quiet home to live out my golden years. I'd prefer no young children. I'm not too interested in playing and rough-housing anymore. Sitting next to you to catch up on TV shows and/or going for nice leisurely walks are more my style. I work hard to be as sweet as I can be - I really want to find a family! - but sometimes I get nervous meeting strangers. Please give me time to learn that I am safe with you. But guess what - once I do acclimate, I give soft little kisses and I like to follow you around. My new friends are still learning what I think about other animals.
