About Star

Star is a high energy, very smart, medium-sized Australian shepherd and poodle mix. She knows basic training commands. We love this dog, but must find another home for her. We got her as a puppy, but have found that she is very territorial and protective of her family and surroundings. As we live in a neighborhood full of children and closely situated neighbors, she has shown protective/aggressive tendencies towards those outside our property. The ideal situation for Star would be a quieter setting, not around younger children, and not constantly distracted by other people and children. She has worked with a dog trainer/therapist, but as this is her instinct, it cannot be 'trained' out of her.
