About koda

Koda is a very loving indoor dog who is used to being with his female owner and son and brother dog and cat who recently passed. He is good with other dogs as long as they are good with him. He is a little sketchy and mistrusting of men (was abused at some point), but if approached with love and gentleness is good. He's a great protector and companion dog and loves to go in the car for trail walks. I am having surgery and am unable to care for him and his brother Boston for up to 12 weeks -- so am looking into this for them. If they could go together that would be the best as his brother Boston(who is 10 and a rotty mix looks out for him and is a total love and seeks out attention and love of all humans , but is sketchy of aggressive dogs as he has hip and knee dysplacia--But He manages it well by sleeping mostly and small walks around the block.(i give him a aspirin in cheese if he over does it and cries :(. He is unable to jump in the car anymore and has to run and jump to get on couch. he uses a trampoline to get on my bed. Both dogs are loves and I need someone who will love and care for them with love and compassion and yet be knowledgeable of how to handle protective breeds.
