About Moose

Moose is currently fostered in Alabama, and transport to Florida is available to a foster or foster-to-adopt home. Moose is a 5-6 month old small breed pup that was rescued after being hit by a car. His leg has healed and he does have a slight limp, however, at this time the vet feels nothing more is needed as the healed injury is not causing him any issues or pain. Moose is guessed to be maybe a corgi x Chihuahua cross, and we don't think he will get much bigger than 10-12 lbs fully grown. He loves to play and does great with other dogs. He is doing fairly well with housebreaking. Moose survived parvovirus, and as such he cannot go to a home with young, unvaccinated puppies or immunocompromised dogs. He is up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, and microchipped. He will go home with a neuter contract, and once proof of neuter is submitted within the agreed-upon time range, $50 of his adoption donation can be refunded.
