Ranger is a long haired chihuahua. He was my baby before I had babies. Now, I have four human babies and it is tiring to him. He doesn't bite children, but he doesn't feel secure around them, being small. Also, we are military and are making yet another move. This time into apartment type housing where he will not have access to a yard. Even though Ranger is turning 11 in April, he is healthy and sprite. He still enjoys walks and playing. He does like to bark at other dogs, but he gets along with them off leash. However, off leash he will chase dogs. When he was younger, he chased people too, but he has aged out of that. Ranger is house broken. He is kennel trained, but is well behaved when left at home so he doesn't need to be left in a kennel. He is trained to not get on the furniture. He has sensitive skin. This is exasperated by fleas, mosquitoes, etc. He will rub the hair right above his tail off in an effort to scratch his skin there. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you for considering Ranger to join your family.
