About Dutchess

Dutchess is a fitting name for a lady of my stature and beauty, don't you think? I feel it suits me perfectly well. I'm a Doberman/Pit Bull mix with the most beautiful soft brown coat, and piercing hazel eyes that can see right into your soul. I can spot a good person a mile away. I'm 4.5 years old, so still young, but well beyond those annoying puppy days. In fact, I'm a very well trained girl with excellent house manners. My weight is right around 80-90 lbs, which I carry very gracefully. I have been spayed and I'm up to date on vaccinations. So, you're probably wondering why you're finding me here�'�|.. Let me tell you my story. My current family adopted me when I was about 1 year old. They were told I was hit by a car as a pup, but my previous family never had me treated by a vet. I do really well, but long hikes tire me out, and make my hip hurt a bit. My current family consists of 3 kids (ages 10, 7, and 1) and another dog, who is 2 years old. I love them all dearly, but sometimes the kids play roughly (as kids do) and may accidentally hurt my hip. Now I get a little nervous around the kids sometimes (understandably). Same goes for my dog buddy�'�|.you know how 2 year olds can be. He just wants to play all the time, and sometimes I'm not up for that. So, my family feels it's in my best interest to find a quieter home, where I can be a bit of a�'�|�'�|..well�'�|..Dutchess! Let me tell you about some of my favorite things: Walks; Warm weather is coming and haven't you been thinking about getting out for some exercise? I'd love to accompany you! Car rides; Have some traveling to do this summer? Looking for company when you run errands or just head out for coffee? I'd love to accompany you! Snuggle time; Need I say more? Who could resist?
