About Bart

Say hello to Bart, 5 years, 15 pounds of doxie personality! Bart is extremely affectionate, loves people, craves attention, closeness. He is an alpha boy, can clash with other males. The ideal home for Bart would be as an only dog with lots of time with his person. Bart has had some tough times. He was rescued from a South Carolina shelter with a bad eye, heartworm positive. His coat was thinning, skin dry, and Bart was underweight. He's been treated for heartworms, had his eye removed, and he's doing so much better in every respect. Bart is such a love.
