About Roman

Roman is a 4 month old australian cattle dog mix pup who is looking for the perfect forever family to spoil him rotten! Roman came to us after being saved by the Tuba City Humane Society. Roman had a rough start to life and when he came to us he had spodylosis of the spine, causing a slight hump. Looking at Roman, you would never know it and it causes no problems for him and will require no further medical care. He also had a right rear leg fracture, which had already healed poorly before he got to our care and could be fixed. Poor Roman has also previously been treated for sarcoptic mange, which has since healed. You would never know this happy go lucky boy had been through any of this. Roman is in the best spirits and gets along with absolutely everyone he meets! Roman is good with other dogs, even dogs who are smaller than him. Roman is great with people, and would do fine in a family with kids who are used to big puppies. Roman is still a young and growing puppy who will need house training, and general training so that he can grow up into a true gentleman. Roman currently weighs about 25 pounds, but will grow up to be a bigger boy. Roman had a bad start to life, but he has put that behind him and is ready to happily move forward to his happily ever after! He is neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped, licensed and vet checked. His adoption fee is $260. His adoption includes a free vet visit and 30 days of free pet insurance. To meet him come to our shelter location 1102 W Hatcher Rd open Tuesday to Sunday 11-6. Call for location on the weekends as we have off site adoption events some of our dogs attend.
