About Carson

Welcome Carson. He is a 1.5-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix. He is a gentle soul and has a soft personality. He responds well to soft touches, kind words and lots of praise when he does what you want. He isn't too vocal in his foster home. He gets along well with other dogs and cats but his preference is people. He isn't too active and will not require mounds of exercise. He would love someone who is home more than gone and could shower him with lots of attention. He is a smart boy and very attentive. He isn't great at the leash yet but we are working with him. Our guess is he has never been on one prior to finding us in rescue. He is motivated with praise and affection over food and will make a great companion for some lucky person or family. He is up on his shots, healthy and ready for his forever home. He was found as a stray and wound up on the euthanasia list. His sad eyes called to CCPAL and they stepped up for him. He can be adopted in Texas where he is located or transported to the East or the West Coast. His adoption fee is 170 and transport is 185.
