About Maggie

Maggie is a 10 year old black lab mix. She is very sweet and absolutely adores people (good with kids). She is typically aloof to other dogs, but would do best in a home with no other dogs, or one low energy dog (no small dogs or puppies, please). Maggie has some health issues, and needs daily medication (oral). She also needs to be walked (on leash) several miles per day. Must have fenced yard. Maggie is very calm in the house, but pulls excitedly on the leash. She needs someone who can handle her energy on walks. Maggie would need to be fed separately from other dogs, as she will eat everyone's food. She is a lovable goofball and will do anything for a belly rub. She loves curling up on a sunny spot after a walk for an afternoon nap. She's also a fan of squeaky toys. She can be trusted in the house and is not a counter surfer. Maggie would do best in a home where she is allowed to sleep on the bed. She wants to be close to her people. This is a very special girl.
