About Bear

Bear is almost 8 months old and has already been passed around to two different homes after being adopted in September. We were told he had 'little dog syndrome' but his foster mom who is well versed in this disease isn't seeing it out of him. He is working really hard on his house training and has been doing good with a consistent schedule. He doesn't love his crate too much yet but is coming around quickly with some bribing from foster Mom. He gets along with all the other dogs in her home, even the dominant ones who put this playful puppy in his place. He is great with the kids in his home. He loves playing with them. And so far he seems uninterested in the cats. He weighs in at 17 pounds and could stand to loose a couple. Bear is looking for a family who is willing to continue working on his house training, work on basic training and love him for the rest of his life. He wants this home to be his forever home. Our adoption fee of $175 helps take care of all dogs in our foster program. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough) , microchipped and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dentals and major surgeries.
