About Zeus

Question of the day.....What could you do in four years? You could finish college. You could (theoretically, if you were slightly insane) give birth to four babies. You could travel the world. And in Zeus' case, you could sit in a SC shelter for FOUR YEARS. One of the great mysteries of rescue.....how does a friendly, loving, handsome, good-with-all dog sit waiting for a family since he was SIX MONTHS OLD??? Zeus, we promise your next 4 years (and hopefully much longer than that!) are going to make up for the past four. Are you thinking to yourself that something MUST be wrong with him? If so, think again, because you're wrong. Zeus, a 4 1/2 year old, 58 lb Black Lab mix, is a shelter favorite who has broken the volunteer's hearts for all these years as he patiently waited for someone to come to his rescue. This is a family dog just waiting for his family. Zeus is a sweet and laid back boy who loves being around kids, sits very nicely to be brushed and pet, and is great with other dogs. As mom to Ollie, who lived outside on a chain for the first 5 years of his life, I can personally tell you that THIS is the kind of dog who will be so grateful at having been rescued and will re-pay you every single day for showing him love (and MAY also barge his way into the bathroom because he can't bear to be apart from you!). He is also neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. Thank you to our amazing foster from heaven (I swear!) Mark and Marylou who immediately said yes when I asked them if they would foster this sweet boy. Now let's find him a FOREVER HOME! Adoption fee is $375.
