About Klondike

This pretty girl is Klondike, a 6 year old long hair Chihuahua who weighs 7.5 pounds. She came to us from the shelter with her friend Bluebell who had been owner surrendered due to declining health. She is very shy but does take to her person easily once she trusts you. Klondike is heartworm negative and microchipped. She is working on her housebreaking skills. She does great with dogs of all sizes and loves to play. She idoes not like cats and would not want to share her home with them. She is surely a lapdog and is happy to sit in your lap and snuggle for as long as you'll let her. She also likes to sleep under the covers in bed with her foster mom. Although we haven't tested her with children, we feel that Klondike would be fine with them since she has such a sweet demeanor.
