Meet Shadow, a wooley piebald husky boy, yes form SoCal. Shadow was in a home, but the family decided that he would not work with their small child, so they reached out to us for help before putting him in a shelter-we are really glad they did! Shadow is about 1 year old, and he really loves people. Children are fine, but not real small kids please. He does better with kids 10+ and all adults. He is super affectionate, but should be the only dog in the home at this time. Once he finishes his basic training, a husky-savvy person could probably work with him to be with a female dog for a friend. He is a long-coat husky, very soft, but does need a bit more grooming that some other dogs. He is a great dog, would fit great with an active family or a not so active family as long as you have yard space for this beautiful boy!
