About Kya

Kya is a 6 month old Husky/malamute/border collie mix (per DNA test) that is beautiful and smart! Her mother was rescued when she was pregnant and Kya was has been raised in a loving home since she was born. Kya is an active, playful girl and weighs approx 50 lbs. She does great with dogs her own size or larger but she plays too rough with small dogs, which is why she is looking for a new home. Her current home has a small dog with a bad back and Kya needs more action and adventure! She lives inside with her family, is housebroken and rings a bell to go outside to potty. She knows sit, stay and lay and said to be a very smart girl! Kya is a sweet girl, affectionate and loving. She would enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities and family outings! Kya is looking for a home with a secured visible fenced yard for supervised outdoor play and potty. Although she doesn't live with children, she has been fine with the neighbor children and meeting kids when out and about so would be best suited for children 10 yrs+. KYA IS CURRENTLY BEING CARED FOR IN TX AND ONCE ADOPTED CAN BE TRANSPORTED TO SEATTLE OR PORTLAND VIA ALASKA AIR. Her adoption fee of $485 includes spay, microchip, current vaccines including bordatella vaccine, current flea/tick prevention, current heartworm prevention, interstate health certificate, crate and air transport.
